Inova Children's Multispecialty – Willow Oaks is looking for a dedicated Outpatient Lactation Consultant to join the team. This role will be full time day shift from Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.

Outpatient Lactation Consultant Job Responsibilities: Combines expert clinical experience with dedicated, personalized care to allow each mother to find the best version of breastfeeding success for herself and her baby. Evaluates maternal history, patient medical and clinical information, and assesses patient/parent needs to develop and implement the most appropriate lactation plan of care. Applies scientific knowledge to the process of diagnosis and treatment. Instructs patients and caregivers on lactation plan. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing- or Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition-or Bachelor's Degree in related field Licensure:
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. RN current licensure to practice as Registered Nurse by VA Board of Nurse Examiners or Registered Dietician Experience : 2 years of lactation experience Certification:
