Engineering Lead – Product Development

This hybrid role combines hands-on engineering with team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and system ownership. What You’ll Do: Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performing web applications Build and maintain full-stack features using Ruby on Rails and React Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions Mentor developers and establish coding best practices and architectural patterns Drive improvements in code quality, system reliability, and infrastructure scalability Ruby on Rails React, TypeScript GraphQL, REST APIs You Bring: 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience, with a strong background in Ruby and React Deep understanding of software architecture, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with product and business teams Passion for clean, maintainable code and continuous improvement A proactive, leadership-oriented mindset in fast-paced environments Nice to Have: Experience in the media, content, or platform space Familiarity with microservices and distributed systems Knowledge of CI/CD, performance tuning, and observability tools Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401k with company match Generous PTO and paid parental leave Annual learning & development stipend Hybrid flexibility — just 2–3x/month in-office Ready to lead engineering initiatives at a cutting-edge media tech company?
