Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Boeing Test & Evaluation is hiring a Lab Test Technical Designer to join the Systems Laboratory Test Design/Build team in Tukwila, WA. The team develops and maintains engineering product definitions for laboratory test requirements and instrumentation of commercial and military programs. Responsibilities include designing layouts, modifying existing designs, developing statements of work, coordinating work transfer packages, and integrating product definitions across partners to produce a functional end-product. The role involves investigating and resolving manufacturing or engineering issues, and verifying data accuracy. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic lab environment across various programs, supporting the engineering and manufacturing of company products. Tasks include fabricating and testing electrical/electronic assemblies, developing engineering definitions with CAD software, drafting instructions, creating tool designs, analyzing manufacturing data, repairing facilities equipment, designing tests, and providing technical support and training. Position Responsibilities: Participate in Integrated Product Teams to integrate technical solutions. Support Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews. Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and fabrication teams. Manage drafting requirements and incorporate drawing changes. Support development and modification of systems, components, and installation designs. Review design requirements and modifications for Mechanical & Structural assemblies. Ensure configuration management requirements are met before releasing drawings. Work with cross-functional teams. Required Skills: Over 1 year of experience with CAD/3D design software (CATIA, SolidWorks, CREO, etc.). Over 2 years of experience in conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design, including 2D and 3D deliverables. Preferred Skills: Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and with both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience in Test and Evaluation Engineering. Pay Rate Range: Min: $32.55/hour, Max: $37.66/hour (USD) Benefits (Optional):
