Opportunity Information Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic Hematology/Oncology team in Sacramento, CA! Key Responsibilities Work alongside a collaborative team of oncologists, hematologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, pharmacists, and support staff Provide care in both outpatient clinic and inpatient consultative settings Manage patients with a variety of oncologic and hematologic conditions, including solid tumors, anemia, thrombocytopenia, coagulopathies, and more Participate in new patient consults, follow-up care, symptom management, treatment education, and survivorship planning Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment tools and have access to clinical trials and research support through the Sutter Institute for Medical Research (SIMR) Engage in multidisciplinary tumor boards and case discussions Requirements Graduate from an accredited NP or PA program with appropriate national certification (e.g., AANP, ANCC, NCCPA). California licensure eligibility and clearances (NP/PA licensure required). Exceptional communication skills, comfortable working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment including patient/family interactions.
