Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinical Neuropsychology, in downtown Greenville We are seeking a full-time Rehabilitation Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our interdisciplinary community re-entry program. This unique outpatient, community-based rehabilitation program serves individuals recovering from traumatic brain injury, stroke, and other neurological disorders, offering comprehensive care in the heart of the city.
Responsibilities
Provide individual and group psychological assessment and interventions related to adjustment to disability and guide interdisciplinary cognitive rehabilitation.
Administer neuropsychological evaluations of cognitive and psychological functioning in relation to neurological injury; provide team feedback.
Balance time between therapy and testing based on background and training; collaborate in a highly interdisciplinary setting.
Deliver direct neuropsychological and clinical services to patients; provide neuropsychological consultation.
Conduct therapy in various modalities (individual, family, or group); assist with patient behavioral management.
Consult with other disciplines within the treatment team and assist with research and administrative functions as needed.
Details – Greenville, SC (Roger C. Peace Main Campus) We are seeking a full-time Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our interdisciplinary team. In this role, neuropsychologists provide specialized services to patients with neurological injuries, diseases, and other medical conditions, supporting recovery through comprehensive outpatient care.
The position includes services for both psychological interventions and neuropsychological assessment. This role provides individual and group psychotherapy to help patients with adjustment and quality of life following illness or injury, and offers the opportunity for administration of neuropsychological evaluations with interdisciplinary team feedback. The mix of psychotherapy versus testing is flexible and depends on department and patient needs. Ideal candidates will have experience in an interdisciplinary setting and be committed to personal growth through professional development.
The ideal candidate will provide neuropsychological and psychological clinical services to patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Consultation with other disciplines within the treatment team is vital. Administrative assistance on an as-needed basis. Research opportunities are available.
