Description Northwestern Medicine is expanding its Palliative Care program across health network locations throughout the Chicago suburbs. We are seeking compassionate, innovative physicians to be part of this ambitious initiative to expand what is already the premier Palliative Medicine program in Chicagoland. Qualifications Fellowship trained in Hospice and Palliative Medicine BE/BC in Hospice and Palliative Medicine Responsibilities
A mix of inpatient and outpatient care Symptom management Develop and facilitate goals of care in the inpatient and outpatient setting Participate in process improvement and program development Program Highlights
Dedicated Palliative Medicine APPs Additional support from social work, dedicated nursing, pastoral care System wide EMR (EPIC) Opportunities for program building and leadership Opportunities to participate in tumor boards, quality initiatives, research and clinical trials Robust collaboration with the academic Palliative Medicine department at Northwestern Memorial Hospital A system culture that puts the patient first in everything we do Program commitment to promoting the well-being of all team members Equal Opportunity
