Key Account Sales Associate
position. The Key Account Sales Associate will work with Alpinestars leadership to train and support our growing Key account network of dealers. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with the ability to connect with dealers and introduce, demonstrate, and provide ongoing training to account staff on products in line with the key account strategies. Additionally, the ideal candidate must be organized and resourceful with the motivation to achieve sales results.
Key Responsibilities
Work within a collaborative team environment to drive the goals of the Key account strategy to meet and exceed annual sales targets
Work with key accounts to effectively manage Alpinestars merchandising, branding, seasonal and custom POP needs
Review and submit/enter key account orders
Seek out new business opportunities within Key account network
Establish and maintain customer relationships to grow profitable sales
Introduce, demonstrate, and provide ongoing training to account staff on products
Report competitive conditions and feedback
Communicate product feature, benefits, and pricing clearly to existing and potential partners
Utilize software tools, to manage customer interactions and track sales activities effectively
Administrative tasks: order entry and shipping/invoicing
Calendar updates
RA's & reorders
Maintain weekly/monthly/quarterly sales/training call and travel schedule
Sample collection management/coordination
Extensive sales reports: booking, shipping, selling, etc.
Product launch and tradeshow preparation & coordination
Maintain ethical, cooperative manufacturer relationships consistent with company image and goals in the marketplace
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in sales or closely related field with two years of relevant sales and/or Powersports industry experience; or equivalent combined education and on the job experience
Prior knowledge of technical motorcycle product. Also, because riding a motorcycle will give the candidate a better idea of how our products can be applied, riding experience is also preferred
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats, including sales presentations within cross functional teams
Proven proficiency in the use of a personal computer accompanied by a strong aptitude for technical applications
General knowledge of Powersports industry, motorcycle safety equipment, powersports after sales
Experience utilizing CRM
Strong organizational skills / able to prioritize excellent time management, meet deadlines
Strong customer service orientation
A valid driver’s license and proven safe driving record
A responsible, positive, and motivated character
You must be someone who enjoys interfacing with customers
$71,000 - $76,000 a year
+ Bonus potential
* Salary will be based on experience.
This is a full-time position with benefits, based on-site in Torrance, CA.
