Job Summary
As a Mission Critical Market Sector Leader with our esteemed construction firm, you will play a pivotal role in growing our market presence and executing high-stakes projects in the mission-critical sector. This senior leadership position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in general contracting, project management, and a proven track record of successfully building strong client relationships, leading pursuits, and delivering complex projects within the mission-critical sector. Salary Range
$195,000 – $295,000, annually (companywide) Benefits
Group medical, vision, and dental insurance, including a choice of two benefit plans – a PPO plan and a High Deductible/Health Savings Account plan with company contribution to HSA. Company-paid short and long-term disability plans, group life insurance, and AD&D plans. Untracked/unmeasured vacation. Sick leave accrued at 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked with an annual carryover of 80 hours. 9 paid holidays each year. Paid parental leave. Annual discretionary bonus based on company profitability and your manager’s assessment of your performance. A 401(k) savings plan under which BNB matches the first 3 percent of your deferral with a 100% match and the next two percent with a 50% match for a total matching contribution of 4% of your pay. You are immediately 100% vested in all contributions (including BNB match). We provide both traditional (pre-tax) and Roth (post-tax) contribution options. We are proud to be an employee-owned company. This means you get an ownership stake in BNB through a benefit called an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). It’s 100% company-funded and invested in BNBuilders stock. You can participate in this long-term plan after you complete 1 year of service (with at least 1,000 hours). Strategic Leadership
Provide strategic direction and leadership for the mission-critical construction division. Collaborate with senior management to align construction goals with overall company objectives. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and innovations to ensure our projects are at the forefront of excellence. Project Oversight
Lead the planning, execution, and completion of mission-critical construction projects from inception to delivery. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed quality standards. Implement rigorous risk management practices to anticipate and address potential challenges. Client Relationship Management
Develop new business to support the growth of the mission-critical business unit. Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction. Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Team Leadership
Build and lead a high-performing team of project managers, engineers, and construction professionals. Provide mentorship and guidance to foster professional growth. Promote a collaborative and innovative work culture. Quality Assurance and Compliance
Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to meet construction standards. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, building codes, and safety standards. Financial Management
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met. Monitor project costs and collaborate with finance to optimize financial performance. Innovation and Technology Integration
Drive adoption of construction technologies to enhance efficiency and quality. Identify opportunities for innovation within the mission-critical space. Communication and Reporting
Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including clients and management. Prepare comprehensive reports on project status and performance metrics. Qualifications
Graduate of a four-year degree program in construction management, science, architecture, engineering, or related fields. 15+ years of experience leading or supervising complex construction projects, especially in the Mission Critical market. Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple activities and teams for efficiency. Physical Demands
While performing this job, employees must frequently sit, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects. The role involves mobility and moving materials up to 10 pounds regularly and 25 pounds occasionally. Manual dexterity is required for operating equipment like computers and calculators. Work Environment
