Biosafety Program Management Support
to support the members at Ft. Detrick, Maryland. This position is contingent upon contract award. Incumbents are encouraged to apply! The salary range ( or hiring range ) for this exempt position is
$80,000-$90,000 . The above salary range represents the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting. We offer various benefits including holidays, paid time off, health, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and a 401K with company match. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn. Responsibilities: Serve as Building 8100 Suite Supervisor, assisting in research move planning, transition, equipment planning, biocontainment regulations, and facility operations. Facilitate completion of Suite Safety Manuals for Building 8100 suites, coordinating tours and manual preparation. Assist suite supervisors by maintaining operational information, schedules, compliance, and meetings across multiple buildings. Manage BSL-2, BSL-3, and BSL-4 containment suites, ensuring compliance and efficient space utilization. Provide suite orientation, training, and escort personnel as needed. Assist with inspections and tours, ensuring safety and biosecurity compliance. Track training for containment personnel and report status to the Biosafety Manager. Author, review, and revise biosafety SOPs, forms, and risk assessments. Support biosafety programs, including mentorship, training, and compliance tracking. Manage PPE stock and distribution for BSL-3 and BSL-4 personnel. Assist in near miss/mishap analyses for risk management. Maintain BPRP enrollment in accordance with regulations. 0-10% Salary Grade: Job Requirements: BPRP enrollment maintained as per regulations. Ability to work under deadlines, handle stress, and produce professional results. Long hours and weekends may be required. Strong communication, organizational, and detail-oriented skills. Self-motivated with minimal oversight. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Some travel may be required. Authorization to work in the U.S. and U.S. citizenship with a valid passport are required. Category:
