7810 South 42nd Place, Phoenix, AZ 85042, USA Job Goal: To provide strategic oversight and leadership of operational functions that support the school’s mission and academic goals. This includes ensuring the efficient functioning of all non-instructional services such as technology infrastructure, campus facilities, office management, and administrative support systems. The Vice Principal of Operations ensures that ACA’s operational environment is safe, effective, and aligned with best practices for educational institutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: ● Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of all non-instructional operations across IT, facilities, and administrative services. ● Assist the Principal in strategic planning and implementation of key infrastructure and support systems. ● Serve as a member of the school’s leadership team, contributing to vision-setting, decision-making, and school-wide initiatives. ● Work closely with academic and culture teams to align operational support with student and staff needs. ● Develop annual departmental goals and budget aligned with the school’s mission and improvement plans.Office Management: ● Supervise front office staff and ensure efficient administrative workflows. ● Coordinates work of personnel assigned to office; assigns and reviews work; monitors and adjusts workload to maintain even distribution. ● Manage inventory and procurement for text-books, office supplies and school equipment etc. ● Assist with the implementation and coordination of emergency procedures in correspondence with the School Site Disaster Plan (fire drills and lockdown drills). ● Coordinates a variety of programs as requested, such as surveys, school pictures, school events, and other activities; coordinates with Parent Teacher Association on a variety of activities as well as the event coordinator. ● Assist in managing and coordinating maintenance and repair of all utilities, security systems, fire alarm systems, PA & bells, clocks, etc. ● Assists in the creation of the duty schedule for the staff. ● Implement protocols to improve customer service for students, parents, and staff. ● Oversee school-wide registration, document control, and administrative compliance. ● Assist with ACA Academic and Sunnah Expectation Awards. ● Supervise and support the IT team in maintaining reliable networks, hardware, and software systems. ● Assist with the management of the school website and social media accounts. ● Lead implementation of new technology initiatives to improve classroom and administrative functions. ● Oversee cyber-security, data protection, and digital compliance policies. ● Ensure that teachers and staff have appropriate tech support and resources to enhance instruction and productivity. ● Manage IT vendor relationships and negotiate service contracts. ● Manage technology software and systems (FACTS, GoGaurdian etc) Facilities and Safety: ● Contract Management: Oversee all contracts related to maintenance, remodeling, landscaping, pest control, and ensure proper operation of security, fire alarm, PA systems, and other infrastructure. ● Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with Fire Life Safety, Department of Health, and other regulatory requirements; act as the main liaison with regulatory agencies and oversee emergency preparedness, including drills and reports. ● Cafeteria Oversight: Manage cafeteria operations during school hours, enforce food safety in compliance with Health Department guidelines, maintain necessary licenses, and Purchasing & Reporting: Prepare and manage requisitions, financial and operational reports (e.g., lunch sales, donations, inventory, emergency records), and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. ● Oversee facility use, parking needs, scheduling and security procedures for all events and daily operations. Financial and Project Oversight: ● Assist with budget planning for operational departments and monitor expenditures. ● Oversee large-scale operational projects (e.g., transportation, renovations, system upgrades). ● Track metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of operational systems and recommend improvements. Other Responsibilities: ● Provide backup leadership support for the Principal and other Vice Principals as needed. ● Support school events, logistics, and operational needs beyond typical hours. ● Participates in a variety of meetings, workshops, and/or trainings for the purpose of providing or receiving information, and supporting the needs of the attendees. ● Supports Principal and other assigned administrative personnel for the purpose of providing assistance with their functions and responsibilities. ● Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the Administration team. ● Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal. Qualifications: A

Master’s degree
