Collects performance data and works with teachers to develop individual plans of study for JOM/Title VI students. Provides tutoring services for JOM/Title VI students. Sets performance goals with JOM/Title VI students and teachers and works with students to develop skills and reach set goals. Regularly monitors student progress and maintains a quarterly log of classroom activities with brief explanatory notes. Must be readily accessible to JOM/Title VI students and their families. Distributes supplies to JOM/Title VI students. Assists teachers and other school personnel with students, as-needed. Completes purchase orders for school activities involving JOM/Title VI students. Covers classes and assigned duties such as, lunch, playground and bus duties when requested. Assists with preparing and submitting reports to federal, state and regional governmental entities. Performs all other duties assigned by supervisor or administrator. Qualifications
Individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Educational Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school or a passing score on the state-based paraprofessional test. Other Requirements
Regular attendance following a designated work schedule; must be able to work extended hours and additional days/evenings as required by position responsibilities. Must be able to attend and participate in meetings and conferences scheduled. Privacy and Equal Opportunity
