Job Description Summary The CNC programmer should demonstrate the ability to set up and program multi-axis mills and lathes with live tooling. You’ll create and revise programs, support production and prototypes, and ensure high-quality parts while working in a collaborative, improvement-focused environment.

You will play a vital role in supporting production goals and machining high-precision parts. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented machinist with experience in both turning and milling using Fanuc equipment and Mazatrol controls.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Program CNC machines using Espirit and Solidworks CAD/CAM software.

Programming with G-code (Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, or similar systems)

Troubleshoot machines and mentor other operators.

Participate in process improvements to increase efficiency.

Monitors the use and inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and orders as necessary

Maintain current environmental procedures and update as needed.

Provide technical assistance to Production and trouble shoot problems.

Technical Skills Use of Espirit, SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

Previous CNC programming experience; live tooling preferred.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

CAD/CAM software experience

Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications

Excellent mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills

Minimum of high school diploma

Prior Gear Manufacturing experience a plus

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulation.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Basic mathematic skills required.

REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
