Information Technology / Telecommunications Position
Principal IT Programmer Analyst GIS (onsite) Houston, Texas Temp Project 14029 Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client Required
Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Houston, TX; Experience as an IT Programmer Analyst with GIS: (10+ years); Esri Geospatial Platform: Strong functional knowledge and background in Esri Geospatial Platform; Business, Application and Data experience; Experience defining roadmaps and standards; Application Development, System Configuration, and Support experience; Driving will be required as part of position duties/work Preferred
Experience with Esri Suite of applications in a hybrid environment (10+ years); Experience with GIS best practices and functionality; Bachelor’s in Geographic Information Systems Responsibilities
Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, maintains, integrates, customizes, and enhances existing or new systems Applies appropriate Agile or development methodologies, system development lifecycles, tools, and technology Automates the handoff of code releases from development to operations (DevOps) Participates in the change management and service ticket management processes including receiving, resolution monitoring, and ensuring customer satisfaction Leads projects when needed and builds strong working understanding of the solution being delivered Ensures user satisfaction by providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of more complex problems Why apply?
