Anderson Hay & Grain is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced
Accounting Manager
to join the Ellensburg Accounting team. This is specifically an in-person, in-office position based in Ellensburg, WA. The Accounting Manager will have a key role in maintaining accuracy in the General Ledger and Financial Statements as well as the functions listed below. Job Functions
Supervise and manage a team, including oversight of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions Responsible for accuracy in the general ledger and financial statements Review Scorecards with responsible budget owners and managers Prepare summary feedback of financial statements variances to budget Validate and prepare monthly consolidated financial statements in compliance with GAAP Strong teamwork focus on commitment Actively review and advise on financial/accounting processes Work directly with auditors on the completion of annual audits Prepare data necessary for tax planning and return preparation Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and forecasting efforts Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors during audits Any other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager Knowlegdge, Skills, Abilities & Other Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Bachelor's degree in Accounting 4+ years in Accounting, General Ledger through Financial Statements Proficiency in financial analysis, general ledger reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation Strong teamwork focus on commitment Ability to collaborate successfully in a team environment and independently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years public accounting experience Previous experience in agriculture or related industry Experience with large scale ERP systems Oracle experience Benefits
