Senior Angular .NET Developer - Hybrid, PA
Work location is primarily remote; however, selected candidates will be required to report in person for an interview at PennDOT’s offices at 400 North Street, 5th floor, Harrisburg PA. Work hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5:00PM, excluding state holidays, for a maximum of 40 hours/week. Lunch is from 12:00PM to 12:30PM. The candidate will work for the Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) development team. The MATP project extends Pennsylvania's statewide FMR modules, allowing Medicaid consumers to submit reimbursement requests for out-of-pocket travel expenses and enabling MATP administrators to manage and process these requests. If successful, the project aims to expand capabilities to reimbursements for MATP fixed route tickets and other transportation assistance programs supporting disadvantaged populations. Candidates will work under the direction of the project’s Technical Lead and Application Architect to develop, test, and document system features and enhancements. Skills
Required: 8+ years of experience Prefer: prior experience with jQuery and Bootstrap Experience with Angular (version 14 or greater) Experience with testing frameworks, preferably Jasmine and Karma Proficiency with .NET Core and C# (version 5 or greater) Familiarity with frameworks like MVC or ASP.NET Core Experience with RESTful APIs Knowledge of ORM tools such as Entity Framework and Dapper Proficiency with Visual Studio (VS2022) and VS Code Knowledge and Experience
