JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision, the incumbent collects and analyzes revenue data from casino operations to detect deficient controls, duplicated efforts, extravagance, fraud, and/or non-compliance with laws, gaming regulations, departmental ISOs, and management policies. The role requires proficiency in Excel, Teen Key, and a working knowledge of Food & Beverage cashiering, supervising, or Main Bank management. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (This job specification may not include all duties listed, nor do the examples cover all duties that may be performed.) - Produce and distribute audit reports for casino revenue areas such as slots, table games, keno, bingo, poker, food and beverage, and the cage, following specified procedures to track and verify transaction accuracy over a given time frame to provide management with timely and accurate financial information. - Verify that slot jackpots and fills are legitimate through the audit process, ensuring each can be traced to cage paperwork or the computerized slot accounting system, and that related paperwork is complete and compliant with regulations. - Confirm accuracy of all paperwork related to table games, including closer slips, fill and credit slips, payment slips, and drop slips by reconciling transactions to ensure proper accounting of funds. - Audit food and beverage paperwork by reconciling Micros reports, comps, coupons, credit card transactions, and other records with cash and cage deposits, issuing exception reports as needed to ensure accurate fund accounting. - Reconcile cage transactions with receipts, disbursements, and shift summary reports, verifying all payments, tracking and posting cage overage and shortage information to the database to ensure paperwork accuracy and regulatory compliance. - Maintain accurate manual and computerized documentation/records to provide current and historical financial information. Education and Experience: - Previous full-time, increasingly responsible experience in a casino, banking, accounting, or financial services sector involving auditing and reconciling large cash amounts and related paperwork. - Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of application. Licenses and Certifications: - Ability to obtain Gaming Employee Registration in the State of Nevada.
