Empower Rental Group is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst in Franklin, TN! Empower Rental Group is a family of local equipment rental providers across the Southeastern US. We began with 3 locations in 2021 with the goal of being the difference in the equipment rental industry by doing everything differently. We now have over 36 locations, and we are adding a Senior Financial Analyst to our team at the Support Center in the Franklin, TN location! *** This role will be on-site initially, then hybrid). Candidates must be local to Nashville, TN, or within a reasonable commute radius. y The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining complex financial models, forecasts, and reports to support decision-making and strategic planning at ERG. This role requires strong financial acumen, proficiency with data analysis tools, and effective communication with both finance and non-finance professionals. The SFA partners with leadership to evaluate performance metrics, guide budgeting processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the company. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop and maintain complex three-statement financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Analyze financial results, KPIs, and variances to provide actionable insights and recommendations. Partner with business units and senior leadership to evaluate the financial implications of key initiatives. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and dashboards for leadership and the company’s private equity sponsor. Support the preparation of executive and equity sponsor presentations, as well as financial communications. Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support investment and planning decisions. Promote continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting tools. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across systems and reports. Collaborate with Accounting and other departments to ensure alignment of financial data. Demonstrates behaviors aligned with the Company’s Core Values. Performs other related duties as assigned. Job Requirements
: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI and Tableau is a plus. Experience with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle. Prior experience in a general rental (or similar) company, while not required, is preferred. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines. Team player with a professional presence and attention to detail.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred) Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis or FP&A.
