Under limited supervision, develops and recommends standard and customized Fixed Income asset allocation strategies and investment portfolios, and prepares related analytical studies. Also develops frameworks for analyzing market and asset class opportunities within the entire fixed income universe and risks. Interfaces with client-facing investment professionals and clients to support business development and retention efforts. Contributes to and authors regular publications focusing on fixed income strategy and construction used by internal and external constituents.
Integral member of developing Truist Wealth’s Fixed Income strategy and guidance for all fixed income asset classes.
Helps to develop and maintain proper documentation for advisor reference portfolios and guidance portfolios.
Supports in the creation and maintenance of select bond/preferred focus lists, coordinating with internal and/or external partners.
Contributes to guiding advisor decision-making regarding portfolio characteristics including structure, duration, quality, sector, and security type.
Contributes to content creation, including monthly insights and topical commentary.
Participates in events and meetings with advisors, clients, prospects, internal partners, and industry peers.
Assists advisors with portfolio reviews and analytics for existing and prospective client portfolios, providing guidance on recommendations and rationale.
Required Qualifications:

Strong writing and presentation skills, with experience presenting to clients of varying knowledge levels.
Strong analytical skills, with experience reviewing fixed income characteristics via Bloomberg, MS Office, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field; Series 65 or equivalent qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years of investment experience focusing on fixed income markets.
Prior experience managing bond portfolios with full discretion.
MBA or CFA designation.
