YOUR IMPACT We are seeking a tax professional to review externally prepared tax returns and global income tax provisions related to investment funds (publicly traded entities and private funds) within Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Goldman Sachs is a leading global investor in alternatives, with over $450 billion in assets and 30+ years of experience, investing across private equity, growth equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, hedge funds, and sustainability. The role involves significant interaction with Controllers, Global Tax, and external service providers (law firms, accounting firms, fund administrators), requiring strong fund tax and tax accounting knowledge. Oversight of tax return review process for publicly traded partnerships and multi-state tax returns for tiered partnerships Oversight of income tax provisions, including uncertain tax positions Collaborating with and challenging external advisors and accounting firms Liaising with tax colleagues within the firm, especially in the US and EMEA Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

CPA preferred; professional qualification required 3-5 years of post-qualification tax experience at a leading firm Strong US tax technical knowledge Understanding of book-to-tax adjustments for fund structures Experience liaising with controllers and third-party service providers (tax accountants, auditors, administrators) Knowledge of fund-level tax compliance and fund tax structure impacts Experience reviewing federal and state returns, K1/K3s Knowledge of US foreign investment reporting, including PFICs Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders Flexible, quick learner, highly motivated team player in a fast-paced environment
