This role requires travel between Valencia, Compton, North Hollywood, and Paramount, CA.
It is a hybrid position with the primary location at any of the California Avantus sites, with the ability to work from home as agreed. This is not a remote position.
JOB PURPOSE:
To support Avantus Aerospace in achieving its financial targets by providing financial analysis that identifies and communicates commercial and operational issues and opportunities, enabling appropriate action. You will serve as a key business partner to senior stakeholders across operations, finance, leadership, and commercial functions, supporting strategic decisions and driving profitable growth. Responsibilities
Build and maintain detailed financial models managing multiple assumptions and outputs for financial or presentation needs. Provide financial analysis, reporting, and strategic insights to support decision-making, both proactively and at the VP Strategic Finance’s direction. Develop and analyze actuals versus budgets or forecasts and assist in monthly board reporting. Communicate performance drivers, risks, and opportunities using strategic financial analysis, working with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and sound conclusions. Support and lead integration, forecast, budget, and strategic planning processes. Run sensitivities and scenario analyses to inform decision-making. Analyze actual results against budgets or forecasts, liaising with business leaders to explain variances. Enhance understanding of profitability across customer, product, pricing, and inventory dimensions to identify margin improvement opportunities and industry insights. Organize and document financial processes to ensure consistent, accurate outputs and maintain accessible data and analyses. Perform additional ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as needed.
