Responsibilities
General Accounting & Financial Transactions Process and review accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions. Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and other financial records. Financial Reporting & Analysis Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement. Support budgeting and forecasting processes. Compliance & Internal Controls Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Assist with audit preparation by providing necessary documentation and financial reports. Maintain proper internal controls to prevent discrepancies and financial risks. Process Improvement & Support Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in accounting processes and workflows. Collaborate with other departments, including procurement and finance, to ensure smooth financial operations. Assist in system upgrades, automation initiatives, and financial software enhancements. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or industry-specific setting. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively. Other: Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
