The Vice President of Business Insurance (Producer/Consultant – Business Insurance) is responsible for driving high-quality new business growth within MMA's business insurance practice, focusing on development and retention of revenue opportunities. Essential Functions

: Identify key decision-makers in prospect organizations, such as HR leaders, CFOs, CEOs. Initiate and maintain contact with key business decision-makers through meetings, calls, and emails, utilizing existing connections and Salesforce for prospecting. Conduct professional initial sales conversations, qualify, and assess new business opportunities. Develop a profitable book of business by leveraging MMA resources, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. Build and nurture relationships with clients and prospects through effective communication. Host prospects at agency and industry events to foster relationships. Create outreach and entertainment opportunities to connect with key prospects. Understand MMA's full range of solutions and services. Collaborate with colleagues and other business units to enhance service solutions. Market the firm and its services professionally. Utilize Salesforce to manage sales activities. Participate in ongoing training and sales meetings to improve skills and industry knowledge. This role can be based out of any Michigan office in Grand Rapids, Livonia, or Troy. Our future colleague. We’re interested if you have these skills: Proven sales experience, preferably in brokerage. Current P&C and/or Life & Health insurance licenses, with ongoing education compliance. Experience with Salesforce preferred. Motivated to generate new business and retain clients. Strong customer service and sales success record. Excellent professionalism, organization, and communication skills. Ability to think quickly and respond effectively. Self-starter with attention to detail and knowledge of the benefits industry. Ability to communicate employee group benefit products clearly. Capable of managing multiple priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
