Assistant Corporate Accountant
Provides support for the monthly close process, financial reporting, Subcontractor Default Insurance Program and other general accounting functions.
Essential Functions
Project Setup
Assign job numbers and set up projects in various Timberline modules.
Monthly Close/Financial Reporting
Prepare month end account reconciliations. Perform general ledger account analysis.
Subcontractor Default Insurance (SubGuard)
Assist in the prequalification analysis of all subcontractors. Maintain subcontractor files and renewal process.
Owner Contracts
Track and report on contract processing. Maintain contract files.
Accounts Receivable
Enter cash receipts. Process daily deposits.
Sales & Use Tax
Assist with sales & use tax compliance. Maintain sales & use tax files.
Corporate Compliance
Assist with the Internal Audit Program
General Administrative Tasks.
Required Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting or Business Management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Outstanding attention to detail and an ability to communicate effectively. Proactive, self-motivated, innovative, collaborative, multi-tasker. Exceptional public speaker and presenter. Strong team player with a positive attitude.
