In the role of
Water Resources Design EIT/Coordinator , we'll count on you to: Assist project engineers and senior engineers in water resources projects. Examples include: watershed assessments, water supply long-term planning, and floodplain analysis, high-level water resources studies. Field and desktop data collection. Hydrologic analysis and model development. One- and two-dimensional hydraulic analysis and model development. Prepare engineering design calculations. Environmental permitting support. Technical report development. Development of visual aids for client and stakeholder presentations. Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression Basic knowledge of industry standard software, including: Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS. Strong writing and verbal communication skills. Ability to work on multiple assignments successfully. Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or other related field. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
