Google User Experience (UX) is made up of multi-disciplinary teams of UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers. As an Interaction Designer, you’ll rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences—from concept to execution. You’ll collaborate with design partners to evolve the Google design language and build products people love to use. As a UX Designer, you will shape critical experiences to evolve how users engage with Google Play and the Android ecosystem, and influence strategies and execution to bring features to life for all Android users. Google Play offers music, movies, books, apps and games for devices, powered by the cloud. It syncs across devices and on the web. As part of the Android and Mobile team, Googlers working on Google Play do everything from engineering backend systems to shaping product strategy to forming partnerships. They help users buy content on mobile and access it on other devices, and enhance the Android ecosystem by giving developers and partners a premium store with broad reach. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, pay is influenced by location and factors such as job-related skills, experience, and training. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and provide solutions. Communicate the user experience at various stages with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high-fidelity prototypes. Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates. Advocate for the prioritization of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in product design or UX. Experience designing across multiple platforms and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and UI mockups/prototypes. Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in product design or UX. 3 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization. 2 years of experience leading design projects. 1 year of experience working with executive leaders. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and influencing skills, with experience addressing technical constraints for desktop and mobile platforms.
