Overview The Department of Radiology & Medical Imaging at the University of Virginia (UVA) seeks applicants for fellowship-trained, board-eligible or board-certified Diagnostic Neuroradiologists. The incumbents will be responsible for clinical work, teaching residents and fellows, and participating in research. They will also see patients for specialized procedures. Clinical responsibilities will involve all areas of adult and pediatric diagnostic neuroradiology, including teaching and academic endeavors. Rank, tenure status and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. To be considered for a tenure-eligible position, applicants will need to demonstrate peer-reviewed publications and ultimately a record as principal investigator for extramural grant and clinical trials funding.

The UVA Health System features a large neuro-sciences team including neuroradiologists, neurosurgeons, neurologists, MR physicists and ENT surgeons, and serves as a referral hospital for the Mid-Atlantic region in neurological, neuro-oncological, craniofacial, and otolaryngological care. There is an active neuroradiology training program with five ACGME-approved neurodiagnostic fellowship positions.
