Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated, empathetic, and experienced
in-person
School Psychologist to join our team on a contract basis. As a School Psychologist, you will provide comprehensive psychological services to students, collaborate with educators and families, and contribute to fostering a healthy learning environment. You will work in a school setting, offering evaluation, consultation, intervention, and prevention services that support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral well-being. Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs). Provide counseling and interventions to support students' emotional and mental health needs. Participate in multidisciplinary teams to address students' academic and behavioral challenges. Offer consultation and training to school personnel on strategies to improve learning environments and student outcomes. Promote positive mental health through prevention programs, crisis intervention, and school-wide initiatives. Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations. Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from NASP-approved/accredited program Valid state license or certification as a School Psychologist. Prefer experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting. Prefer knowledge of state and federal special education laws and regulations. Strong skills in psychological testing, counseling, and intervention techniques. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities. Commitment to cultural competence and diversity. Passion for working with children and adolescents in educational settings. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing needs Benefits:
