Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated clinician scientist at the Associate or Professor level to serve as Director of the
Division of Cancer Survivorship
within the Department of Oncology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Qualifications: MD, MD/PhD, or DO degree Board certified or eligible in pediatric hematology-oncology Experience in survivorship, clinical/outcomes research, and clinical care of pediatric and adolescent cancer survivors Experience in mentorship, fellowship training, and quality improvement in clinical practice This position reports to the Chair of the Department of Oncology, leading clinical research, overseeing faculty, and managing the After Completion of Therapy Clinic, which provides follow-up care for childhood cancer survivors and supports research initiatives aimed at improving outcomes after childhood cancer. The Department of Oncology comprises seven divisions, including Leukemia-Lymphoma, Neuro-oncology, Solid Tumor, Palliative Care & Quality of Life, Cancer Predisposition, Cancer Survivorship, and Molecular Oncology. It is closely aligned with the St. Jude NCI-funded Comprehensive Cancer Center and collaborates with the Department of Epidemiology on projects like the St. Jude Lifetime Cohort Study. The department offers a collaborative environment with ample opportunities for clinical, educational, and translational research. Faculty members are encouraged to align their goals with institutional strategies, pursue development, and promote multidisciplinary care and research activities.
