Full job description The Russ Building Barber Shop is a well-established, customer-focused barbershop located in the heart of San Francisco’s Financial District. We take pride in providing high-quality grooming services to our diverse clientele. We are currently looking for a talented, licensed barber to join our team. Job Responsibilities: Provide a variety of barbering services, including haircuts, beard trims, shaves, and other grooming services. Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming environment for clients. Consult with clients to understand their grooming preferences and provide recommendations based on their needs. Keep up with the latest trends and techniques in barbering to offer the best services. Ensure all tools and equipment are sanitized and maintained according to safety and health regulations. Build a loyal client base by offering outstanding service and professionalism. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the barbershop. Be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts. Requirements: Valid barber’s license for California. Proven experience as a barber, with the ability to perform haircuts, shaves, and beard grooming. Strong communication skills and the ability to build friendly relationship with clients. Knowledge of barbering trends and techniques. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and cleanliness. A positive, friendly attitude and a passion for the barbering profession. Compensation: Commission-based pay. Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week Schedule: Monday to Friday Supplemental Pay: Commission pay Tips Ability to Commute: San Francisco, CA 94104 (Required) Work Location: In person
