Overview
Assistant Or Associate Professor, Marketing The Marketing Department within the Sykes College of Business at The University of Tampa invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor starting in Fall 2026. The University of Tampa is a medium-sized, private institution with more than 11,000 undergraduate and graduate students, on a 110-acre campus by the Hillsborough River and near downtown Tampa. UTampa has 30 consecutive years of enrollment growth, 260 student organizations, a diverse student body from 50 states and more than 100 countries, and a Top Tier ranking in U.S. News and World Report. The teaching load is three (3) four credit hour courses for a total of 12 hours per semester. The candidate is expected to engage in scholarly and research activity involving undergraduates, advise students, and provide service to the department, college, university and broader community. Salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Qualifications
Ph.D. from an AACSB-accredited program, or equivalent, in Marketing; or Ph.D. in a closely related business field with published scholarly work in Marketing. ABDs will be considered. Proven teaching, scholarship, service and student mentoring track record; ability to teach a range of courses; preference for experience/interest in professional sales for the first position; ability to cover multiple courses for the second position. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of publishing in or potential to publish in ABDC journals (A+, A, or B).
