Position Title: Academic Scholar- Clinical Assistant/ Associate Professor, Division of Geriatrics & Palliative Medicine The
Division of Geriatrics & Palliative Medicine , Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo, seeks a
Geriatric BE/BC physician
for a full-time position based at our suburban practice. The qualified candidate will be appointed at the
Clinical Assistant/ Associate Professor
level. The candidate will be responsible for the development and oversight of an ambulatory practice that provides comprehensive evaluation and care to a geriatric population. The candidate will provide direct care as well as supervise other members of the care team. This is a unique opportunity to build a state-of-the-art experience for the elderly in a community-based multispecialty setting. Given the academic mission of the Division, the candidate will oversee the educational experience of fellows, residents, and medical students assigned to the site. Key responsibilities include: Developing and overseeing an ambulatory practice for geriatric care Providing direct care and supervising other care team members Building a state-of-the-art experience for the elderly in a community-based setting Overseeing the educational experience of fellows, residents, and medical students Minimum Qualifications: MD/DO BE/BC in Geriatric Medicine Preferred Qualifications: BE/BC in Palliative Medicine Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York Current and unrestricted DEA Certificate Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis UB is an AA/EOE and welcomes all to apply, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
