Overview
Casey Eye Institute, Department of Ophthalmology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), is seeking a full-time Glaucoma Specialist to join our faculty at its main campus in Portland, Oregon. This position will join an experienced team of five glaucoma faculty and two fellows, contributing to the department's mission of excellence in clinical care, education, research, and community service.
OHSU is a nationally recognized academic health center dedicated to excellence in patient care, education, research, and community service. The Casey Eye Institute is home to a collaborative team of 69 ophthalmologists, 12 optometrists, and multiple basic science faculty, and offers comprehensive subspecialty care including:
Cornea
Retina
Oculoplastics
Pediatric Ophthalmology
Ophthalmic Pathology
Oncology
Uveitis & Ocular Immunology
Low Vision
Ophthalmic Genetics
The department supports robust training programs, including 15 ophthalmology residents and 11 clinical fellows.
Position Highlights

Busy clinical practice with an established referral base and active surgical volume
Opportunities for research, teaching and outreach
Collaborative environment in a respected academic medical center
Qualifications
Must be Board certified or board eligible in Ophthalmology
Fellowship-trained in Glaucoma
Eligible for medical licensure in Oregon and Washington
Candidates at any career stages, including current fellows and recent graduates with an interest in scholarship/research and outreach at satellite facilities are encouraged to apply.
