36th Annual Celebration of Authors and Books in Fort Lauderdale

Twelve notable authors, including Jeffery Deaver, Alex Segura, Wanda M. Morris, and Madeline Martin will be featured at the Broward Public Library Foundation’s 36 th annual Literary Feast on March 28 and 29. The event is presented by the Helen Ingham Foundation. LitLIVE! will be held on Friday, March 28 from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Free and open to the public, the twelve Literary Feast authors will participate in three panel discussions divided into Fiction, Nonfiction, and Mystery in the Horvitz Auditorium at NSU Art Museum, 1 East Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, followed by book sales and signings. LitLIVE! is presented by Nova Southeastern University and the NSU Alvin Sherman Library. A Night of Literary Feasts will be held on Saturday, March 29 with a Welcome Reception at 5:30 p.m. The event begins with a WelcomeReception, underwritten by JM Family Enterprises, with all twelve featured authors and includes an open bar and hors d’oeuvres, a fantastic silent auction, and book sales with signings in the Commodore Ballroom at Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach. At 7:30 p.m. guests embark to a variety of locations around Fort Lauderdale—including upscale restaurants, clubs, and private homes—for dinners with the authors. Literary Feast dinner tickets are $200 | Welcome Reception-only tickets are $100. This vital community event has raised more than $4.5 million since its inception. Literary Feast 2025 Co-Chairs are Alexa Lanier and Ellen Crane. The Broward Public Library Foundation, a 501(c) 3 charitable organization incorporated in 1982, is committed to enhancing the collections, programs, and services of the Broward County Library system beyond the means of public funding.
