The Indigo Urgent Care Fellowship is a 14-week program to train nurse practitioners or physician assistants who have recently graduated or are new to urgent care. Driven by collaboration, providers practice evidence-based medicine and deliver a ‘wow’ experience for each patient. Requirements Active state license (active/good standing) by the time of employment Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association Preferred: Minimum of 2 years clinical experience (post degree) in an UC,ED or FM setting Preferred: Confident in suturing, splinting, minor office procedures, x-ray reads, treating all ages, and practicing autonomously –additional training provided as needed Preferred requirements do not apply to fellowship openings
