Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO)
with a strong interest in clinical research. A
PhD or Master’s in Clinical Research, Public Health, or a related field
is highly preferred. You’ll oversee a growing portfolio of psychiatric research studies, including trials in
depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders , and have access to innovative treatments like
TMS
and
nasal ketamine . As a leader within our practice, you’ll shape the future of psychiatric care while contributing directly to the advancement of science. Key Responsibilities
Direct and oversee clinical trials conducted across our Orange and Costa Mesa locations Ensure compliance with all IRB, FDA, GCP, and sponsor requirements Collaborate with pharmaceutical sponsors, CROs, and internal leadership on study selection, protocol design, and site readiness Supervise research coordinators and clinical staff involved in study execution Maintain the highest standards of ethical research conduct and patient safety Clinical Duties
Perform psychiatric evaluations for study participants Serve as Principal or Sub-Investigator on current and future studies Monitor patient progress and contribute clinical insights to ongoing protocols Communicate with participants about risks, benefits, and the purpose of research activities Program Development
Help expand the research program by identifying new study opportunities and therapeutic areas Lead or contribute to internal quality improvement initiatives related to research workflows Present outcomes and findings to stakeholders or at scientific conferences (if applicable) Collaborate with our interventional psychiatry and clinical teams to ensure continuity of care and integration of research with general practice What Our Research Participants Experience
