Director of Nursing (DON)

Responsibilities: • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to nursing staff across all shifts • Oversee clinical operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations • Develop and implement care plans, quality improvement initiatives, and performance metrics • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care and satisfaction • Manage staffing, scheduling, and professional development of the nursing team • Maintain high standards for clinical care and patient safety
Qualifications: • Current RN license in the state of Illinois • Extensive clinical experience in long-term care or related healthcare settings • Previous leadership or management experience preferred • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in nursing • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
