Staff Nurse in Maternal & Child Health , you will: Provide Exceptional Care:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers, infants, and children in their homes, ensuring their well-being and promoting healthy outcomes.

Support New Mothers:

Offer education, guidance, and emotional support to new mothers, helping them navigate the challenges of early parenthood.

Promote Child Health:

Monitor the growth and development of infants and children, providing necessary care and interventions to support their health.

Follow the Case Management Model:

Provide and follow a case management model of care, ensuring coordinated and comprehensive care for all patients.

Perform Assessments:

Conduct physical assessments, evaluate the needs of patients, and develop appropriate plans of care.

Document Patient Progress:

Document all changes in clients’ conditions, update care plans, and track outcomes to ensure effective care management.

Educate and Empower:

Identify learning needs and plan appropriate teaching strategies for individuals and families to support their understanding and involvement in care.

Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team:

Work closely with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Advocate for Patients:

Serve as a compassionate advocate for mothers and children, ensuring they receive the care and resources they need.

What We’re Looking For: Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.

Experience:

1+ year of experience in pediatric or Maternal Child Health.

Skills:

Strong clinical skills, particularly in maternal and child health, with the ability to provide patient-centered care.

Attributes:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy, compassion, and teamwork.

Monmouth County, NJ . In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the total compensation range for this position is USD $70,200.00 to USD $159,171.19. When determining an offer, VNA Health Group considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, education/training, relevant skills, internal pay equity, and market and organizational conditions. The total compensation range reflects the total package, including base salary, overtime, bonuses, add-on incentives, special clinical compensation, retirement plans, and all other benefits.
