Veterinary Care Group Astoria is seeking a driven and experienced Managing Veterinarian to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead your practice with autonomy and entrepreneurial spirit. You will collaborate closely with your hospital manager to establish medical protocols, policies, and procedures while leading and mentoring your veterinary team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in patient care. Provide high-quality veterinary care to patients in accordance with medical protocols and standards of the clinic that you create. Lead and mentor a team of veterinary professionals, including veterinarians, technicians, and support staff. Collaborate with the hospital manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional client service. Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient care, client communication, and clinic profitability. Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and development among team members. Serve as a liaison between the clinic and the support center, providing feedback and implementing best practices. Requirements:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school. Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in New York State. Proven experience in clinical veterinary practice, with a strong background in small animal medicine and surgery. Leadership experience preferred, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients and staff. Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving practice growth and success. Commitment to continuous learning and staying current on veterinary medical advancements. Competitive annual salary of $170,000-$195,000 and performance-based bonuses.
