Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a California-licensed civil engineer with a strong background in land development plan review, project management, capital projects, and city engineering. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and the ability to work effectively in Ventura County and Northern LA County.
Responsibilities
Oversee and finalize comprehensive reviews of land development plans to ensure compliance with local, state, federal regulations, and project-specific conditions of approval, utilizing support from plan checking support staff.
Manage and oversee capital projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and high-quality standards.
Support the City Engineer in city engineering projects, including civil infrastructure design, construction, and maintenance.
Collaborate with stakeholders such as government agencies, developers, contractors, and community members to facilitate project success.
Coordinate with the design team and review detailed reports, plans, and specifications for engineering projects, ensuring they meet client schedules across multiple public agency clients.
Utilize project management tools and techniques to monitor progress and address issues proactively.
Qualifications
Valid California Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, focusing on land development plan review, project management, capital projects, and city engineering.
Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to land development and civil engineering.
