Position Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Structural Development: Spearhead the creation, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to establish robust and innovative system designs. Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of the product into its operating environment. Drive Design Integrity: Employ advanced analytical methods, finite element modeling/simulations, and cutting-edge tools to verify and enhance structural performance throughout the product lifecycle. Oversee Testing & Validation: Develop comprehensive test plans, guide test execution, and analyze/report results to ensure systems and components exceed requirements and specifications. Certification Excellence: Define and document certification processes, ensuring compliance with customer needs and regulatory standards. Support In-Service Products: Lead investigations into product failures and provide actionable insights for system improvements and reliability enhancements. Innovate & Optimize: Create and refine analytical processes/tools to enhance the efficiency, quality, and effectiveness of development efforts. Requirements
What You Bring to the Team:
Education & Experience: • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 9+ years of related experience, or • A Master’s degree in engineering with 7+ years of related experience, or • A Ph.D. with 4+ years of experience. Analytical Expertise: Proficiency in structural analysis, modeling, and testing methodologies. Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work across diverse teams to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions. Leadership Skills: Experience leading projects, driving decisions, and ensuring on-time delivery of key milestones.
