Transmission Line Engineer
EarthStream Global are looking for a Transmission Line Engineer that focuses on both civil and electrical engineering aspects of transmission line design, working on systems ranging from 34.5kV to 500kV. This role requires a solid understanding of transmission systems and line design principles.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Design cost-effective solutions for high voltage transmission lines. Represent the Engineering department and participate in cross-departmental meetings. Monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery, within budget, and exceeding customer expectations. Perform transmission line engineering tasks independently. Balance innovation with standardized work processes. Senior level engineers (Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer) will ensure projects meet quality and schedule goals. Occasional travel for short assignments as needed. Minimum Qualifications / Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in transmission line design. Experience in preparing cost-effective designs in an EPC environment. Familiarity with substation structures, foundations, and site development. Familiarity with design documents and drawings essential for project completion. Other working locations are avaiable .
