POSITION SUMMARY
Is responsible for daily clinical operations of the Critical Care Unit, Telemetry. Coordinates all work and call scheduling efforts of the CVIR nurses. Is accountable for all orientation and training of the associates regarding best practice process and procedures. Develops and implements best practices from across CHRISTUS Health within CV Service Line that will assist the organization in meeting or exceeding productivity, caregiver engagement, financial, quality and patient loyalty target outcomes. Establishes infrastructure required to communicate with multiple physicians and staff to meet the needs of the Cardiovascular Service Line. Works directly with the Clinical Director of Critical Care Services to expand and enhance all service lines as appropriate. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of CHRISTUS St Vincent. It is expected that the associate demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. He/she shall support CHRISTUS St Vincent’s strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
