Overview
Successful Ophthalmology Practice seeks a Full Time Optometrist for an outstanding opportunity. Located in central Virginia, about 20 minutes from Lynchburg (low cost of living) and 1 hour from Charlottesville. The practice is MD/OD-owned and busy, focused on providing quality care. The schedule is M-F with the optometrist dividing time between two locations (4 days at one location, 1 day at the other, 20 minutes apart). Begin fall/winter; interviewing now. Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive optometric care to patients in a two-site setting with a shared, efficient support team. Keep the associate focused on optometry and patient care with minimal office minutia. Collaborate with staff and physicians to deliver high-quality eye care. Compensation & Benefits
Outstanding base pay plus production; guaranteed base pay of 175,000 with potential to earn 200,000 or more. Modern, state-of-the-art offices and equipment. Full benefits including Health, vacation, 401K (3% match) after one year, CE & PTO. $25,000 signing bonus, up to $10,000 relocation expenses covered, $5,000 yearly student loan repayment. Qualifications
Must hold an O.D. degree with a license to practice in Virginia (VA license can be obtained within a few weeks). Must be customer-service oriented with a compassionate personality. Will consider optometrists with any experience level. How to Apply
