We are seeking an Audiologist who holds a Masters or AuD Degree in Audiology to join our growing team, passionate about private practice and making an impact on the community. The ideal candidate will diagnose and provide evidence-based treatment for hearing and balance disorders of all ages and be committed to delivering exceptional patient care while engaging in Atlanta's thriving healthcare landscape.
Major duties and Responsibilities
Conduct hearing evaluations for pediatric and adult patients, assessing history, medical diagnosis, social, and communicative conditions through testing and interviews to establish a treatment basis.
Understand otologic and neurological diagnostic processes sufficiently to gather audiological information that helps physicians distinguish between different etiologies.
Generate clear, timely written communications for treating physicians.
Understand established clinical protocols and modify diagnostic procedures as needed to meet patient needs without compromising test reliability or validity.
Provide services with a caring, empathetic manner, adhering to the highest professional, ethical, and legal standards.
Interpret hearing evaluation data within the context of the patient’s perceptual, social, and communicative needs.
Develop rational treatment and monitoring plans with patients and caregivers, including amplification, assistive listening devices, aural rehabilitation, and counseling as appropriate.
Perform other duties as assigned.
