As a cornerstone of the veterinary community in the region, our hospital features a highly skilled team, advanced equipment, and strong relationships with referring veterinarians. The Opportunity As Medical Director, you’ll lead a large, skilled team that includes emergency doctors and board-certified specialists. In partnership with the Hospital Director, you’ll oversee medical quality, support operational excellence, and foster a positive and professional environment where collaboration thrives. You’ll split your time between clinical work and leadership, maintaining your hands-on emergency skills while mentoring and guiding your team. We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about team development, forward-thinking medical care, and building strong, trusting relationships—both internally and within the wider veterinary community. What You’ll Bring DVM or equivalent degree, and eligibility for Ohio veterinary licensure At least 3–5 years in a leadership or mentoring role Excellent communication and collaboration skills A passion for driving positive change and medical excellence Comfort leading a team that includes specialists Nice-to-Haves Advanced leadership training or certification Experience mentoring new grads or early-career veterinarians Creative problem-solving mindset What We Offer Total annual compensation of $175,000–$200,000 , which includes base salary
plus a leadership stipend Additional production pay
