POSITION SUMMARY: The Mammography Technologist Training Program provides the opportunity for ARRT registered radiologic technologists to obtain the education and training to excel and grow with Charlotte Radiology. Throughout the program, technologists receive paid, on-the-job training to ensure they become outstanding mammography technologists. Within 12 short weeks, our program provides all required clinical and education credits to earn ARRT advanced certification in mammography. We offer continued training and development as a Mammography Technologist to learn the diagnostics as well as screening. After certification, there are full-time job opportunities within our Charlotte Radiology centers. The Mammography Technologist performs technical activities associated with screening mammography procedures to obtain high quality images of the breasts and serves as an integral part of providing an exceptional patient care experience.
