The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Senior Director of Growth to lead health plan expansion — from opening doors to closing strategic partnerships and scaling impact. You’ll own the full business development lifecycle, cultivate trusted relationships with payer executives, and partner with internal teams to shape how Autonomize wins in this critical market. This role is perfect for a strategic driver who thrives in ambiguity, translates vision into execution, and knows how to navigate complex enterprise deals in healthcare. Key Responsibilities
Lead the Growth Cycle:
Own the end-to-end process — from sourcing, engaging, and developing relationships to closing complex health plan partnerships. Market Expansion:
Identify and engage senior decision-makers across health plans to build new partnerships and expand existing ones. Executive & Technical Engagement:
Build credibility with payer C-level executives (CEO, CFO, CMO) and technical leaders (CIO, CTO, data/analytics leaders) by speaking fluently about Autonomize’s AI platform and its application to payer workflows. Cross-Functional Alignment:
Work closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Operations to refine strategy and ensure partner success. Market Intelligence:
Translate customer insights into actionable go-to-market strategies and product recommendations. Trusted Advisor:
Serve as a credible voice on Autonomize’s AI-powered knowledge platform and its technical capabilities. Deal Leadership:
Navigate and negotiate complex business and legal terms in partnership with legal and executive leadership. Must-Have Qualifications
7–10 years in business development, partnerships, or growth leadership within healthcare, ideally with payer/health plan focus. Proven success building and closing complex enterprise-level partnerships. Experience selling or scaling technology, SaaS, or AI-driven solutions into healthcare organizations. Ability to bridge executive-level strategy conversations with technical depth (data architecture, AI capabilities, integration considerations). Strong executive communication skills — able to tailor messages for C-suite, clinicians, and technical stakeholders. Strategic thinker with hands-on execution — thrives in growth-stage environments with limited resources. Resilient operator with grit — comfortable iterating quickly, pushing into new markets, and overcoming roadblocks. Cultural alignment: Full Stack Ownership, Final Mile Execution, Velocity, and Customer at the Core. Bonus Points
