Overview
Construction Project Engineer
Location: Seattle, WA
Position Type: Full-Time, Field-Based
Salary Range: $75,000 – $90,000 (commensurate with experience)
Join Redhawk Group and help shape Seattle’s skyline. We’re seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join our high-performing, Seattle-based team. In this role, you’ll gain real responsibility from day one, work closely with senior leadership, and contribute directly to impactful commercial and mixed-use developments across the region.
What You’ll Do
Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to execute work from pre-construction through project closeout
Conduct regular site walks to ensure safety, quality, and progress standards are met
Manage and maintain project documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders, permits) using Procore
Serve as a liaison between architects, engineers, subcontractors, and local agencies (SDCI, SDOT)
Troubleshoot technical and logistical challenges with the field and office teams
Support budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and other key project delivery tasks
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in construction (commercial or mixed-use preferred)
Passion for the building process and a deep curiosity about how things come together
Strong organization and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments
Familiarity with Seattle permitting processes, safety codes, and local regulations
Proficiency in Procore and scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Project)
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset
