Responsibilities
Supervises Medical Technologists in the performance of routine and special diagnostic testing in a Hospital Laboratory.
Oversees operations and ensures quality and accuracy in microbiology testing and related functions.
Qualifications
B.S. Degree in Medical Technology or related science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) / Medical Technology Certification by ASCP.
5 years experience as a general Med Tech or Med Tech specialist in a Hospital or Clinical Lab.
Special Requirements: Communication Skills – Writing/Composing (Reports).
Other Skills: Research.
Advanced Education Preference: Bachelor's Degree: Med Tech certified or Clinical Certification by ASCP or NCA.
Work Schedule: Flexible.
