Nurse Manager – Operating Room – Los Angeles, CA Key Responsibilities
Provide 24/7 clinical and operational leadership of a
12-suite OR
serving a variety of high-volume specialties Manage daily operations with oversight of
~60 direct reports , including OR RNs, surgical techs, and support staff Lead staffing, scheduling, education, compliance, and performance initiatives across perioperative services Ensure high standards of safety, efficiency, and clinical quality for
~50 daily OR cases Collaborate with anesthesia, surgeons, sterile processing, and other interdisciplinary leaders Drive continuous improvement in workflow, throughput, and employee engagement Maintain full survey readiness and regulatory compliance (TJC, CMS, CDPH, etc.) Qualifications
Current CA Registered Nurse (RN) license
(required by start date) American Heart Association BLS certification
(required) BSN or MSN
(required) Minimum 5 years of OR RN experience
in an acute care hospital setting Minimum 4 years of RN leadership experience , including at least 2–3 years in a Nurse Manager or Supervisor role Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing operations, staffing models, and regulatory standards Prior experience with unionized workforce preferred CNOR certification a plus Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary : $197,000 – $228,000/year Bonus : Eligible for
